Cleaning and cooking

This past monday I got laid off work. A landscaper can only work so long until the work runs out and the weather gets bad. So now I'm at home doing what needs done. Right now what needs done is a lot of "motherly" things. My mom has been spending a lot of time in Del. with my dying grandmother, and I get the privilage of picking up all the loose ends that someone needs to take care of. So I've been house cleaning and making supper each night

Cooking is one of those things that I never learned growing up, but it really isn't that hard, if you know what you are doing. But it seems I operate in a constant state of confusion. "Where is the chili powder? Can glass go in the microwave?" So far I haven't done anything that has had strong negative concequences.
