Weddings and walking

So much has happened and I’ve written so little.

The wedding went well: The couple got married, the food didn’t run out, and I took lots of pictures. Then I loaded my car and pointed it south for a backpacking trip. Winter/spring backpacking is almost a different sport than summer backpacking. The forecasted 58 temps turned out to be 38. What was a 30% chance of rain became 100% chance of rain and ice. Fortunately the rain came at night, and the ice wasn’t thick. All of this suffering makes summer seem like a good idea.

who got married? Too bad about the backpacking. We leave friday for a week in South Texes, camping on the beach. Hopefully it won't rain. I can't wait!

The guy in the suit married the girl in white, they seemed pretty happy about it.

Beware of sin and vice in South Texas, Rev./meterologist Pat Robertson would consider camping on the coast in an area filled with sin and vice and good way to be destroyed by a topical storm.

Say Hi to George W. for me.
